Hi! We're the team behind brgy.to, and we're so happy you're here.

Let us tell you what this is all about.

What is brgy.to?

brgy.to is a free website where you can find information about your barangay — things like contact numbers, office hours, names of officials, and what documents you need when you visit the barangay hall.

Think of it like a directory. But instead of just listing barangay names, we want to show everything that's actually useful to you.

Right now, we have all 720 barangays in Albay on the site. Every municipality — from Legazpi to Tiwi, from Daraga to Malinao — is included.

You can search for your barangay and find:

  • Phone number and email
  • Office hours (so you know when to visit)
  • Facebook page
  • List of officials (captain, kagawads, SK chair)
  • Guides on how to get barangay clearance, certificate of residency, and other documents
  • News and announcements from your barangay

Why Did We Build This?

We built brgy.to because we know how hard it is to find simple information about barangays.

You want to get a barangay clearance. But you don't know what time the office opens. You don't know what documents to bring. You don't know who the captain is or if there's a phone number you can call first.

So you go to the barangay hall, wait in line, and then find out you're missing something. You have to come back another day.

This happens all the time. And it shouldn't.

If the information was online, you could check before you leave your house. You could save time. You could plan better.

That's why brgy.to exists.

We Need Your Help

Here's the honest truth: we can't do this alone.

The Philippines has more than 42,000 barangays. That's a lot! We started with Albay, but even with 720 barangays, we don't have all the information yet.

We don't know every barangay's phone number. We don't know everyone's office hours. We don't know who all the current officials are.

But you do.

You live in your barangay. You know these things. And you can help us fill in the gaps.

How You Can Help

1. Share Information About Your Barangay

Do you know your barangay's contact number? Office hours? The name of your captain or kagawads?

Go to your barangay's page on brgy.to and click "Suggest an Edit" or leave a comment in the Q&A section. We'll update the page with the correct information.

Even small things help. If you know what time the office closes for lunch, that's useful. If you know the barangay's Facebook page, share it. Everything counts.

2. If You're a Barangay Official — Claim Your Page

Are you a captain, kagawad, secretary, or any barangay official?

You can claim your barangay's page and manage it yourself. This means you can:

  • Update contact information anytime
  • Post news and announcements
  • Answer questions from residents
  • Add photos of barangay activities
  • List community services and businesses

It's free. It's easy. And it helps your constituents find you online.

Just go to your barangay's page and click "Claim this Barangay."

3. Tell Your Friends and Family

Know someone who's always asking about barangay requirements? Share brgy.to with them.

Know a barangay official who should claim their page? Send them the link.

The more people who use and contribute to brgy.to, the more useful it becomes for everyone.

This is About Transparency

We believe that government information should be easy to find.

You shouldn't have to know someone at the barangay just to get a phone number. You shouldn't have to guess when the office is open. You shouldn't have to travel just to ask a simple question.

When information is online and accessible, it helps everyone:

  • Residents can plan their visits
  • OFWs abroad can check requirements before asking relatives to process documents
  • Job seekers can prepare what they need for barangay clearance
  • Business owners can find out endorsement requirements

Transparency means the information is there for everyone to see. That's what we're working toward.

This is Your Platform

brgy.to is not just our website. It's yours.

We built the platform, but the information comes from you — the people who live in these barangays, the officials who serve them, the Filipinos who want to help each other.

Every piece of information you share helps someone else. Maybe it's a job seeker who needs clearance fast. Maybe it's an OFW who hasn't been home in years. Maybe it's a student doing research.

You never know who you're helping. But trust us — you are.

Let's Build This Together

We're just getting started. Albay is our first province, but we want to cover the whole Philippines eventually.

That's a big dream. But with your help, we can make it happen.

Visit brgy.to today. Find your barangay. See what's there. And if something's missing, help us add it.

Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!
