Frequently asked questions
Is there an official exam for barangay officials?
No. Unlike the LTO exam, there is no government-administered test for barangay or SK officials. This reviewer is a study tool for the topics covered in the DILG's Barangay Newly Elected Officials orientation and the SK mandatory training, built from the laws those programs are based on.
Where do the questions come from?
From the text of RA 7160 (the Local Government Code of 1991), RA 10742 (the SK Reform Act of 2015), and RA 11768 (its 2022 amendments). Each question cites the section it is based on and links to the statute so you can read the source yourself.
Why do the SK answers differ from older reviewers?
RA 10742 repealed the SK chapter of the Local Government Code in 2016, and RA 11768 amended it again in 2022. The Katipunan ng Kabataan is now ages 15–30, SK officials must be 18–24, and the KK meets every six months — not the old 15–21 and quarterly rules many sites still show.
Can I review in Tagalog?

Can I save my progress?
Anyone can play without an account. To keep your XP, badges, and mastered questions, create a free brgy.to account — progress is shared with the LTO reviewer, so one profile covers both.
